Torched offers classes for all skill seekers, from a quick 2.5-3.5 hour class for an enriching experience, or a multi-day course to grow your skill sets and dive into the world of metalsmithing. Multi-Day Classes

Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing

  • This class is 6 days, 3hrs each day and is meticulously designed for beginners and those looking for a refresher.

    *This class comes with 4 hours of Open Studio time outside of class!

  • $625

  • This class is 18 hours and is split different ways depending.

    The Jan/Feb.Mar 2026 session is 6 days for 3 hours each day.

    *wear closed toe shoes + bring reading glasses if you wear them

Lost Wax Casting

  • Learn all about transforming wax into metal using this ancient technique! Over the course of this 15 hour class, you’ll work hands-on with multiple forms of wax to create pieces of your own design. Two separate casting days allow you to bring more designs to life and become comfortable with the casting process.

  • $500

    Most of the materials are included except casting grain*

    *(cost of the metal varies on a daily basis, the cost of your final piece will reflect the days’ market value and weight of your pieces)

  • This class is 15 hours total split into 5 days, 3 hours each day.

    The January/February class will be Saturday mornings from 11am-2pm

Intro to Stone Setting

  • Learn the fundamentals of stone setting in this 18-hour introductory course (+lunch breaks) designed for beginners. Explore essential techniques including bezel, prong, tube, and flush settings. Through hands-on practice, students will develop precision, control, and confidence while working with basic tools and materials.

    All tools and materials provided.

    All skill levels welcome.

    We encouraged taking Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing first, but not required.

  • This class is 3 days, 6hrs each day and is meticulously designed for beginners and those looking for a refresher.

    *This class comes with 4 hours of Open Studio time outside of class!

    The March 2026 session is 3 days for 6 hours each day.

Intro to Enameling

  • Discover the art of enameling in this 15-hour introductory course. Learn to fuse powdered glass to metal using torch-firing and kiln-firing techniques while exploring color, texture, and surface design. Students will practice essential skills such as sifting, stenciling, and layering to create vibrant, durable finishes. Ideal for jewelry makers and artists seeking to add color and depth to their work.

    All skill levels welcome.

    The March session is split into 3 days of 5hrs each day

2-Day Rapid Fire Casting

  • Crash course in Lost Wax Casting

    Learn about transforming wax into metal using this ancient technique! This rapid fire class is 10 hours, you’ll work hands-on with wax to create a piece of jewelry. This is a condensed version of our full Lost Wax Casting course, with one less casting day, but still packed full of info.

    All skill levels welcome. Tools and equipment provided.

    Sat, Dec. 13th (6hrs)
    +Sun, Dec. 14th (4hrs)

Kid Group Class, ages 9 and up!

  • You pick the class you would like to book, tell us some times that work for you and we send you a private sign up link! It’s that simple!

    For kids ages 9 and up, we recommend any of the following classes:
