Torched offers classes for all skill seekers, from a quick 2.5-3.5 hour class for an enriching experience, or a multi-day course to grow your skill sets and dive into the world of metalsmithing. Looking for something quick and basic?
These classes are 2.5 - 3.5 hours each and geared towards beginners.

Cocktail or Tea Spoon

  • Starting with just sheet and wire, you’ll twist, hammer and rivet your way to a beautiful handmade cocktail spoon in only 2.5 hours. Choose between Copper or Brass, or use both!

  • Cut, file and Stamp your way into making a custom pendant! But wait, rivet on another piece behind for a secret message, just for you!

Sterling Silver Rings

  • Choose between 3 stacking rings or 1 wide band ring. We’ll start with wire, cut, form and solder everything together before finishing our rings off with texture! Leave with your very own handmade ring(s)!

Mountain Pendant

  • A little bit of Copper, Brass and Silver can go a long way! You’ll get to use the jewelers saw to hand cut your own mountain design in this one of a kind piece. Use fire, tools and hammers!

Silver Spinner / Fidget Ring

  • You’ll love messing with this ring! This silver band flares on the edges to hold in 1, 2 or even 3 spinners. Choose between brass, copper, or silver spinners. Do you want them to have a hammered texture? Do you want a spinner to be twisted? You choose!

  • Pick your own Cabochon stone and learn how to bezel set it in place! You’ll turn Sterling Silver sheet, wire and a stone into a beautiful one of a kind pendant!

Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing

Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing

  • This 6-hour class meets for 3 days and is meticulously designed for beginners and those looking for a refresher.

    *This class comes with 4 hours of Open Studio time outside of class!

  • This class is 18 hours and is split different ways depending.

    The February 2025 session is 3 days for 6 hours each day.

Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing
Level 2: Part 1

  • Come refine + cultivate the skills you learned from Intro while expanding into new skills in this 2 day course. You’ll learn how to make a pairs of roller printed earrings, studs and dangles. Plus, learn the different between the tumbler vs using the flex shaft to bring a piece to high polish finish!

    PREREQUISITE - must have taken Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing

    *This class comes with 4 hours of Open Studio time outside of class!

Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing
Level 2: Part 2

  • Come refine + cultivate the skills you learned from Intro while expanding into new skills in this 2 day course. You do NOT have to take Part 1 first.
    In this class you’ll learn how to make a cuff bracelet with a bezel set cabochon stone + a tube set cz.

    PREREQUISITE - must have taken Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing

  • The Intro to Jewelry + Metalsmithing Level 2 class is broken into 2 parts.

Lost Wax Casting

Lost Wax Casting

  • Learn all about transforming wax into metal using this ancient technique! Over the course of this 15 hour class, you’ll work hands-on with multiple forms of wax to create pieces of your own design. Two separate casting days allow you to bring more designs to life and become comfortable with the casting process.

  • This class is 15 hours total split into 5 days, 3 hours each day.

Kid Group Class, ages 9 and up!

  • You pick the class you would like to book, tell us some times that work for you and we send you a private sign up link! It’s that simple!
