Visiting Artist workshop: Nicole Ringgold

Botanicals of North Carolina

This workshop is a 5-day intensive for intermediate to advanced silversmiths. We will convene for 8 hours each day which includes a one-hour break for lunch.
Students will focus on forming, fusing, soldering, and so much more to fabricate a variety of pieces inspired by the natural surroundings. Demonstrations may include the creation of Hawthorn leaves, an acorn, a coneflower, Venus flytrap, an Oconee Bell, Monarch butterfly, and so much more. Students will have the time and support to create several pieces throughout the week.

Thursday, March 6 - Monday March 10, 10:00am - 6:00pm each day.
